Hi there! I’m Savoie Neal, a twenty something year old raw vegan foodie. Just kidding, but I guess I’m a bit of a healthy-eating aficionado, (yep, I’d choose a green kale smoothie or Paleo bliss balls over french fries any day). And I do like making raw desserts and treats.
Point is, I don’t stick to one diet 100% of the time, I just like learning about the different ways to treat my body well with food, whether it’s from raw vegan to acid/alkaline balancing, to Paleo. So it’s no surprise that the kitchen has always been my playground because I absolutely love experimenting with different cooking methods that still allow foods to be yum and good for you.
That’s where food dehydrators come into the picture, it’s grown to become one of my favourite means of not just preserving food but also creating guilt-free, ‘raw’ treats and snacks. It’s such a versatile device it’s a shame that not a lot of people use this neat little food drying machine – there’s more to it than just making prunes you know!
But hey, that’s why this site is here because I’d like to share and let you in on my healthy, delicious dehydrating adventures. Ever thought about dehydrating a vegetable to make popcorn that won’t hurt your waist? (I’m not talking corn here). Yep, I can show you that.
Thanks for visiting. If you have any questions or would like to provide any feedback please feel free to drop me a comment, send me an e-mail at [email protected] or shoot me a message here!
Ps I apologize in advance if my sarcasm and poor sense of humor doesn’t come across well over the internet.
